Sammy – Founder & Creative Director, Corsets Island

I’m Sammy, founder and creative director of Corsets Island, a UK-based corsetry brand operated by S&S Fashion Trading Limited (Company No. 13333129).

My journey in corsetry began in 2016, when I started working in a corset factory at just 18. What began as curiosity became a lifelong passion for handcrafted, authentic steel-boned corsets that enhance confidence and celebrate every body type.

With nearly a decade of hands-on experience in corset design, pattern making, and fit engineering, I now lead the creative and production teams at Corsets Island overseeing everything from fabric selection and design to final quality checks.

Together with my co-founder Samar, we built Corsets Island around craftsmanship, inclusivity, and honesty. Our collections are available worldwide, proudly designed and made with traditional techniques and modern materials for comfort and durability.

Through the Corsets Island Blog, I share expert insights, styling guides, and behind-the-scenes stories to help readers discover the art of authentic corsetry. My goal has always been simple: to craft corsets that empower confidence, celebrate individuality, and honor the timeless art of corsetry.
